The Federal Council consists of the President of KUSA, the Chairmen of the Provincial Councils, plus the Vice Chairman of DOGS PC, and the members of the Executive Committee, the number of which shall not exceed the number of Provincial Council Chairman members.

The Federal Council is the policy making body of the Kennel Union and is ultimately responsible for the running of the business.
