Can I register my unregistered puppy?
|
Can the new owner register his new (unregistered) puppy at KUSA?
NO. The new owners cannot register the
puppy themselves as Application for Registration MUST be made by the breeder (i.e
the registered owner of the dam(mother) at the time of the puppy's birth.)
Can the a single puppy from a litter be
registered?
NO. The breeder must register the whole litter of puppies
How long does a Breeder have to register the
puppies?
Although registration should be done within
four months of the birth date , applications received after four months, but not
later than twelve months from the date of birth, can be registered by the
breeder, subject to a penalty fee.
Can registrations be made after twelve (12) months of age?
After twelve months application can still
be made but would have to be supported by very compelling reasons.
It then has to be tabled to the Executive Committee for a decision
whether or not to approve the application and, if accepted, a severe penalty fee
is imposed.
