| What is a Specialist
Rottweiler Show? |
Rules and Regulations
A specialist Rottweiler show firstly abides by the rules and
regulations of a standard Breed show.
In other words, the show is in very much the same format that a normal
show is.
So what is the difference to a normal Breed show?
The main difference is that the show is judged by a Specialist Rottweiler
Judge and your dog will be critiqued and graded.
What is a Specialist Rottweiler Judge?
Specialist Rottweiler Judges are people who have been active in the
Rottweiler Breed for at least 10 years and have completed a Specialist
Rottweiler Training course. They are also qualified to Grade and Critique your
dog.
What is critiquing?
Critiquing is the process where the Judges gives a written (typed) summary
of your dog. This process basically describes how your dog compares to the Breed
standard.
What is grading?
Grading describes the quality of your dog. Your dog is placed
into a certain category. Eg. Excellent, very good or good. To learn more about
gradings, please click here.
