Training should ideally start at a very young age. Very basic training starts at home when you first bring your puppy home. The RWBA prefers to start puppy training at the age of THREE months. At this age they are still very easy to control and a lot is imprinted into the dog's mind. From the age of THREE to SIX months, we only do puppy socializing and basic obedience with the dogs. This encourages a strong bond between you and the dog as well as tolerance towards people and other dogs. We accept other breeds in the puppy socialization classes as we believe this will improve your dog's sociability in his environment. He/she must learn that not all dogs are Black and Tan.
